Sebastian Kehl confirms his full support for new Borussia Dortmund coach Nuri Šahin. Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has reaffirmed the club’s confidence in Nuri Šahin. Following the appointment of the 35-year-old as the new head coach following Edin Terzic’s departure, Sky Germany sport reported on Friday.
Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the appointment of Šahin as the new BVB manager, taking over from Terzic, after signing a contract until 2027, with Kehl reaffirming his faith in the 35-year-old former midfielder UFABET
Šahin previously managed Turkish side Antalyaspor from 2021-2023, where he managed 94 games, winning 38, drawing 23 and losing 31, before returning to the Black and Yellows as part of Terzic’s coaching staff alongside Sven Bender since January, until the club promoted him to become the new trainer.
‘Nuri İsahin helped us reach the final of the Champions League last season. He has experience here as a player and assistant coach to learn how BVB works and, above all, he knows how to succeed.’
‘With his natural authority and expertise, he has a good relationship with our team and he knows what we need to work on together. Nouri has full confidence and full support from us,’ Kehl said.
